"We are currently restoring a recently purchased bungalow and commissioned Dryfix to undertake a damp survey for us. We are so glad we did. The property had been empty for sometime and had previously suffered a suspected leak in the bathroom area. It was showing some signs of high humidity, potential condensation and isolated mould growth throughout. Russell and Jack undertook a thorough damp survey. They provided an overall diagnosis of any damp concerns they found within their report to us, and devised a holistic ventilation strategy to address the issues. Their recommendations included: the installation of an integrated mechanical extractor fan system, additional trickle vents to windows, improvements to our sub floor ventilation and additional loft insulation within the eaves to address thermal losses. Full costings were also provided for the key recommendations made. We subsequently commissioned Dryfix to undertake all of the key works immediately required. Fraser, his team, and sub-contractors were exceptional, going above and beyond despite the challenging working conditions presented on site by the recent heatwave. Fraser then undertook a thorough inspection on completion and provided us with lots more useful advice to manage and improve things further. All the works completed are to a very high quality standard. Dryfix are an exceptional and very professional company. They are clearly experts in their field and the state of the art technology they use for diagnosis and monitoring is impressive. They are a pleasure to deal with - friendly, great communicators and are customer focused at all times. Their report was clearly presented and is easy to understand for the layperson.
